What is cold weather shipping? Do you ship through the winter?
Yes, we do ship through the winter! However, we do not ship when temperatures are below -5C / 23F. We look at temperatures both here in Orillia, Ontario, and the shipping destination. We ship as soon as temperatures are favourable in both areas.

Does the natural deodorant work?
Can I use the sugar scrub on my face?
No we do not recommend using the sugar scrub on your face – we designed it for the body. The sugar grains are a larger size for use on the body, and a face scrub will use a finer grained sugar to be more gentle. While some customers have reported using the sugar scrub without issue it is not something that we recommend.
Can I use the shampoo and conditioner on colour-treated hair?
Yes! Our sulfate-free formula is safe for colour-treated hair.
Is there perfume in any of the products?
No. Our products are scented naturally with 100% sweet almond oil.
Do you have any parabens in your products?
No. Our products are paraben free, SLS free, phthalate free, mineral oil free, and petroleum free.
Does the shampoo lather even though it is sulfate-free?
Our shampoo has a rich, “tight” lather, but not overly bubbly. It will not have the volume of lather that shampoos with sulfates have. Feedback from our customers has been fantastic – they love how light and clean their hair feels.
Are your products gluten-free?
There is no gluten in the raw ingredients in our products, however they are not made in a gluten-free facility.
Are your products 100% natural?
Our products are 95% natural, or higher. We use a very small amount of preservative in the products to extend the shelf life. We strongly recommend customers use the products once open and do not “save them” for a special occasion or use sparingly, as they are natural and will spoil over time quicker than non-natural products. Look for the open jar symbol with the number inside, followed by an “M”. This number tells you the number of months the shelf life of that product is, this symbol can be found on the product label.
Could I have a reaction to any of the products?
As with any product, you may react if you have an allergy or sensitivity to a specific ingredient. If you have any allergies, it is important to review our ingredient listings. They can be found under each product on the website. Potential concerns may include sweet almond oil and aloe.
Is there sunscreen in any of the products?
No. We do not add any chemical sunscreens to our products.
Do the products have a shelf life?
Yes. We are a natural skin care company and limit the amount of preservatives we use. Look for the open jar symbol on all of our products. It will tell you how many months to use the product within once it is opened.
When you purchase our products we recommend using them right away rather than storing for future use. We make all our products in small batches to ensure freshness. The majority of our products should be used within 6-8 months once opened. The lip balm has a longer shelf life with the expiry date stamped on the bottom of the tube.
Can you use the body wash on your face?
Yes! The body wash is a very mild formula that can be used head to toe. You can also check out our foaming facial cleanser!
Do you test on animals?
Absolutely not! We are a 100% animal-testing free company.
What is the difference between the body cream and the body butter?
The body butter has a base of shea butter and coconut oil making it super rich and thick. The butter is excellent for extra dry skin. This heavy formula is non-greasy and feels soft and smooth on the skin with a light natural scent.
Our original body cream is aloe and safflower oil based. It is a much lighter formula and is used for dry skin, eczema, sun and radiation burns, psoriasis, acne, damage to due laser surgery, rosacea, fine lines, and fading age spots. The body cream has more sea buckthorn and, therefore, more healing properties than the body butter.
The body butter is a fantastic all over intensive moisturizer!
Is the body cream safe for babies?
It is recommended that infants less than a year old do not ingest unpasteurized honey. We use a significant amount of unpasteurized honey in our body cream and, therefore, advise you to consult with your child’s physician. We’ve had many customers use our body cream on their children for eczema as an alternative to cortisone creams; however, this is a decision to be made by the parent, caregiver and/or doctor.
Can you use the body cream on your face?
Absolutely! Many of our customers use the body cream as a face cream as they prefer a lighter texture. We suggest the body cream for acne-prone skin. A face cream is a very personal choice and both the lighter body cream and richer face cream are non-greasy and have healing properties.
What is the difference between the face cream and the body cream?
There is a big difference between the two as they are completely different formulas!
The face cream is shea butter and coconut oil based making it much richer and thicker than our body cream. The face cream is used for its moisturizing benefits, rosacea, fine lines, and fading of age spots. Its formula is specifically designed for the face.
The body cream is aloe and safflower oil based, making it much lighter than the face cream. The body cream is used for eczema, sun and radiation burns, psoriasis, dry skin, and damage due to laser surgery. It is non-greasy and a wonderful daily moisturizer that can be used from head to toe. You can use our body cream on the face as well! It has a lighter formula and more suitable for acne prone skin.
Although our body cream is helpful for rosacea and fading age spots, you will see results sooner using the face cream as it has a higher level of Sea Buckthorn.

Please return unopened/unused items with your original receipt for a full refund less any shipping charges. Return of unopened/unused items are at the purchasers expense.
